"Fuck Batman" Titans Recap: "Jinx" & "Super Super Mart"

 Titans

I had a feeling that this was coming but it was made official yesterday. HBO Max announced that "Titans" and "Doom Patrol" would be ending with their current fourth seasons. If you haven't watched "Doom Patrol," I'd highly recommend it. Maybe I'll recap that series someday. I started season one and fell off. Anyways, "Titans." Yeah, this might be the first show that I've ever hate watched, at least at first. Let's hope they can end things on a high note. Let's go.

"We Used To Be Friends" Re-Watch: "Pilot" & "Credit Where Credit's Due"

 Veronica Mars

I figured it was about time that I started covering more of my favorite shows on this blog. I started with "The X-Files" and now it's time for "Veronica Mars." The show began my lifelong love of Kristen Bell. It's super smart and fantastic. It has has a crazy life span. It started on UPN, then moved over to the CW when UPN and the WB merged. It was cancelled after the third season. In 2013, a Kickstarter was launched to finance a movie and it made its goal in 11 hours. A fourth season debuted on Hulu in 2019. The creator of "Veronica Mars," Rob Thomas also created "Party Down" and "iZombie." "Veronica Mars" is a detective series at its heart. There is a season long mystery that Veronica tries to solve intermixed with cases of the week. The first season mystery is the murder of Veronica's best friend, Lily Kane. While investigating, Veronica also has to deal with the ire of her rich classmates, the fallout from her dad's days as sheriff and romantic feelings for her ex and Lily's brother, Duncan. The pilot premiered on September 22, 2004.

"SuperDad" Superman & Lois Recaps: "The Inverse Method" & "Girl... You'll Be a Woman, Soon"

 Superman & Lois

Things are really start to ramp up during season 2. I was nervous that season 2 was going to meander or be a downgrade from season 1, but I'm maybe more excited for this season that I was for the debut season. Let's get to it.

Road to No Way Home: Venom: Let There Be Carnage

"Venom: Let There Be Carnage" (2021)

We have reached the end of the road and I wish we were ending this little series with a better movie. This was the third movie I saw in theaters after being vaccinated so I guess that is something.

Principal photography began on "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" in November 2019 and ended in February 2020. It was initially set to be released in October 2020 but that date was pushed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, Michelle Williams as Annie Weyling, Naomie Harris as Frances Barrison/Shriek, Reid Scott as Dan Lewis, Stephen Graham as Patrick Mulligan and Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady/Carnage. The film was written by Kelly Marcel. It was directed by Andy Serkis. "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" premiered on October 1, 2021.

"Fuck Batman" Titans Recap: "Lex Luthor" & "Mother Mayhem"

 Titans

Man, I can't believe that we are starting the fourth season of "Titans." It is a series that I initially started hate watching and now I kind of, begrudgingly enjoy some of the time. What a journey we've been on. HBO Max has split the season in two. I wanted to wait until all six episodes of the first half of this season were out before I started recapping. We don't know when the last half will drop. But let's jump right in.

Season five of "The Clone Wars" is diversifying a little bit. It's telling stories that we haven't focused on to much so far in the series. Let's get into this next four episode arc.
