"Finger Lickin' Good" Re-Watch: "Girl of Steel" & "Curse Womb Must Die"

 Jujutsu Kaisen

We meet the final part of our trio of new first years here and we get to see that it's not all fun and games. That this anime is not fucking around. We talked a about the opening of the first half of this season but we really need to talk about the closing song. "Lost In Paradise" is maybe the best anime closing song of all time. Fight me. You can take a listen below. Check it out.

"We Used to Be Friends" Re-Watch: "Normal Is the Watchword" & "Driver Ed"

Veronica Mars

It's time to start season two of "Veronica Mars!" In case you forgot, when we left off with season one, Veronica had solved the case of who murdered her best friend, Lilly Kane. It was Aaron Echolls, the movie star father of her sometime enemy, sometime beau, Logan. As the season ended, someone showed up at Veronica's front door in the middle of the night. Who could it be? Let's get into it.

"SuperDad" Superman & Lois Recaps: "Of Sound Mind" & "Forever and Always"

Superman & Lois

Since our last recaps, the CW announced that the fourth season of "Superman & Lois" would be its last. It's not a huge surprise. The CW is moving away from scripted shows it seems. And the show demoted all of its series regulars except for the Kents. I'm glad the creators know now so they can hopefully craft a great final season. I have no doubt they will. Let's get to it.

"Hated and Feared" Re-Watch: "The Fifth Horseman" & "Jubilee's Fairytale Theater"

A Long Time Ago During the Clone Wars: "Old Friends, Not Forgotten," "Phantom Apprentice," "Shattered" and "Victory and Death"

 Star Wars The Clone Wars

We have reached the end of our journey through the Clone Wars, the series and the actual event. It has been three years since we started it, which is wild. We are also nearing the end of Republic and will be entering an extremely bleak era with the rise and reign of the Empire. These last four episodes are basically a long movie. They do away with the lessons and only the first episode has the series trademark narration. Let's dive into these final four episodes.

"Totally Schway" Re-Watch: "Heroes" & "Shriek"

 Batman Beyond

It's been a minute since I've watched "Batman Beyond" and I think I forgot that the first season takes some time to really get going. It's not the instant classic that "Batman: The Animated Series" was, but it gets there. Let's get to it.

"Do You Like Scary Movies" Re-Watch: Scream 4

 "Scream 4" (2011)

Ghostface: "Alright, Kirby, then it's time for your last-chance question. Name the remake of the groundbreaking horror film in which the vill--"
Kirby Reed: "Halloween, uh, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Dawn of the Dead, the Hills Have Eyes, Amityville Horror, uh, Last House on the Left, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, My Bloody Valentine, When a Stranger Calls, Prom Night, Black Christmas, House of Wax, the Fog, Piranha. It's one of those, right? Right?"

[After Olivia's death, Sidney answers Olivia's phone.]
Sidney Prescott: "What?"
Ghostface: "Welcome home, Sidney. Preview of coming events."
Sidney Prescott: "Why don't you come for me? You got the balls for that?"
Ghostface: "Oh, poor Sidney. You think this is all about you? You think you're still the star?"
Sidney Prescott: "This isn't a fucking movie."
Ghostface: "It will be."
Sidney Prescott: "These are innocent people!"
Ghostface: "Spare me the lecture! You've done very well by all this bloodshed, haven't you? Well, how about the town you left behind? I've got plans for you. I'm gonna slit your eyelids in half so you don't blink when I stab you in the face. You'll die when I want you to, Sidney, but not a moment before. Until then, you're going to suffer!"

I was very excited when "Scream 4" was announced because I didn't think that there ever would be another "Scream" movie with the original trio. Back in 2010, when the movie was announced, reboots and revivals weren't as common as they are now. So, it was a treat. There was a website that tracked the filming and shared on set photos and I followed that religiously. I saw it twice in the theaters. Once on opening night and then again a couple days later because my ex-husband, then boyfriend's friends were being a little obnoxious in the theater the first night.

Principal photography began in June 2010 and ended in September 2010. The film stars David Arquette as Dewey Riley, Neve Campbell at Sidney Prescott, Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, Emma Roberts as Jill Roberts, Hayden Panettiere as Kirby Reed, Anthony Anderson as Anthony Perkins, Adam Brody as Ross Hoss, Rory Culkin as Charlie Walker, Mary McDonnell as Kate Roberts, Marley Shelton as Judy Hicks, Alison Brie as Rebecca Walters, Marielle Jaffe as Olivia Morris, Nico Tortorella as Trevor Sheldon, Erik Knudsen as Robbie Mercer, Anna Paquin as Rachel in "Stab 7," Kristen Bell as Chloe in "Stab 7," Shenae Grimes as Trudie in "Stab 6," Lucy Hale as Sherrie in "Stab 6," Britt Robertson as Marnie Cooper and Aimee Teagarden as Jenny Randall. The film was written by Kevin Williamson. It was directed by Wes Craven. "Scream 4" was released on April 15, 2011.

"Finger Lickin' Good" Re-Watch: "Ryomen Sukuna" & "For Myself"

 Jujutsu Kaisen

It was pretty obvious to me that the next anime that I was going to tackle for my anime feature after "Cowboy Bebop" was "Jujutsu Kaisen." It is my favorite anime currently airing. It is beautifully animated by MAPPA. The Japanese and English voice casts are stellar so whether you are watching it subbed or dubbed you are getting a great experience. It is based on the manga by Gege Akutami. The one sentence description of the series is as follows: After the death of his grandfather, high school student, Yuji Itadori, learns that curses are real and becomes the vessel for a 1,000 year old curse named Ryomen Sukuna when he eats one of his fingers.

For anime series based on manga, with each episode I'll list the manga chapters the episode covers and the arc that we are in. One of my favorite things watching anime are the opening and closing songs and "Jujutsu Kaisen" routinely knocks them out of the park. For the first half of the season, the opening song is "Kaikai Kitan" by Eve. You can watch it below.

"The Truth Is Out There" Re-Watch: "Leonard Betts" & "Never Again"

 The X-Files

It's Scullypalooza with these two episodes as we get two episodes focused on the best character on the show: Dana Scully. Let's get to it.

"Do You Like Scary Movies?" Re-Watch: Scream 3

 "Scream 3" (2000)

Jennifer Jolie: "Gale Weathers!"
Gale Weathers: [says quietly] "Shit."
Jennifer Jolie: "Oh my God. Listen, I know we've never met and I don't mind you never returning my calls, but I have to tell you that after two films I feel like I am in your mind."
Gale Weathers: "Well that would explain my constant headaches."
Jennifer Jolie: "You know I'm sorry things didn't work out on 60 Minutes II but Total Entertainment, that's a pretty good fallback."
Gale Weathers: "Thank you. I'm sorry things didn't work out with Brad Pitt, but being single. That's a pretty good fallback."
Jennifer Jolie: "Gives me more time for my work. After all Gale Weathers, you're such a complex character."
Gale Weathers: "Oh, and to be played by an actress with such depth and range."

Jennifer Jolie: [To John Milton] "Come on, you have made millions off the story of her murder. You're obsessed with her and you're obsessed with her daughter!"
Gale Weathers: "Alright, easy Geraldo."

"Scream 3" was originally meant to be the final film in a trilogy of "Scream" films and it was for a long time. Out of the six "Scream" films, "Scream 3" and the original are the only ones that I haven't seen in the theater. I think I tried to convince some of my friends to go to the theater in Newton to see it with me, but they wouldn't go.

Principal photography on "Scream 3" began in July 1999 and was completed in September 1999. The ending was re-filmed in January 2000. The film stars David Arquette as Dewey Riley, Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, Patrick Dempsey as Mark Kincaid, Scott Foley as Roman Bridger, Lance Henriksen as John Milton, Matt Keeslar as Tom Prinze, Jenny McCarthy as Sarah Darling, Emily Mortimer as Angelina Tyler, Parker Posey as Jennifer Jolie, Deon Richmond as Tyson Fox, Kelly Rutherford as Christine, Liev Schreiber as Cotton Weary and Patrick Warburton as Steven Stone. The film was written by Ehren Kruger. It was directed by Wes Craven. "Scream 3" premiered on February 4, 2000.

"We Used to Be Friends" Re-Watch: "A Trip to the Dentist" & "Leave it to Beaver"

"Do You Like Scary Movies?" Re-Watch: Scream 2

 "Scream 2" (1997)

Sidney Prescott: "Yeah? Well, you're forgetting one thing about Billy Loomis."
Mickey Altieri: "What's that?"
Sidney Prescott: "I fucking killed him."

Sidney Prescott: "You're as crazy as your son was."
Debbie Salt: [shocked] "What did you just say?"
[Sidney trembles]
Debbie Salt: "Was that a negative, disparaging remark about my son? About my Billy?
Sidney Prescott: "No, Billy was a good boy. Billy was perfect. You did a bang up job, Mrs. Loomis."
Debbie Salt: "It's not wise to patronize a woman with a gun, Sidney. Randy spoke poorly of Billy and I got a little knife happy."

One of my formative teenage memories is seeing "Scream 2" in the theater with my mom. I remember that it was really cold outside. My mom had to go with me because I was only 14 and the Newton theater definitely wouldn't let me sneak in because everyone who worked there knew me. My mom was super surprised that I wanted to go because I do not like any sort of scary/horror movies. This was like the first scary movie I ever saw in a theater. And let me tell you. I was scared during this movie. My mom was cool as a cucumber. She didn't jump. Didn't move. She looked bored, honestly and I was afraid to go to the bathroom. When we left, she did this like full body shiver and said she was scared and I was gobsmacked.

Principal photography on "Scream 2" began in mid-June 1997 and ended in early September 1997. It was an extremely rushed production. The film suffered from script leaks on the internet causing the script to be re-written during filming with cast members consistently being given same day pages. It was released less than a year after the premiere of the original. That is wild. The film stars David Arquette as Dewey Riley, Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Cici Cooper, Jamie Kennedy as Randy Meeks, Laurie Metcalfe as Debbie Salt, Elise Neal as Hallie McDaniel, Jerry O'Connell as Derek Feldman, Timothy Olyphant as Mickey Altieri, Jada Pinkett as Maureen Evans, Liev Schreiber as Cotton Weary, Lewis Arquette as Chief Louis Hartley, Duane Martin as Joel, Omar Epps as Phil Stevens, Rebecca Gayheart as Lois and Portia de Rossi as Murphy. The film was written by Kevin Williamson. It was directed by Wes Craven. "Scream 2" was released on December 12, 1997.

"Do You Like Scary Movies?" Re-Watch: Scream (1996)

 "Scream" (1996)

Ghostface: "Do you like scary movies, Sidney?"
Sidney Prescott: "I like that thing you're doing with your voice, Randy, it's sexy."
Ghostface: "What's your favorite scary movie?"
Sidney Prescott: "Oh, come on You know I don't watch that shit."
Ghostface: "Why not? Too scared?"
Sidney Prescott: "No, no. It's just what's the point? They're all the same. Some stupid killer stalking some big breasted girl who can't act who's always running up the stairs when she should be going out the front door. It's insulting."

Gale Weathers: "Kenny, I know you're about fifty pounds overweight. But, when I say 'move it,' please interpret that as MOVE YOUR FAT, TUB OF LARD ASS, NOW!!"

Much like "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," it's kind of wild that this is the first time I'm talking about the "Scream" series on this blog. It's kind of strange that I love these movies so much because overall I am not a horror girlie. In fact, I don't think that I watched the whole opening sequence of "Scream" until I saw the sequel in the theater with my mom. This is a movie that I watched piecemeal. I would like hype myself up to watch it and then stop. Start, then stop. But, eventually I watched it all and I've now seen it a million times. To the point that I can probably quote it from memory. It's one of my favorite movies of all-time. Who would have ever guessed?

Principal photography on "Scream" took place from April to June 1996. The film stars David Arquette as Dewey Riley, Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, Jamie Kennedy as Randy Meeks, Matthew Lillard as Stu Macher, Rose McGowan as Tatum Riley, Liev Schreiber as Cotton Weary, Skeet Ulrich as Billy Loomis and Drew Barrymore as Casey Becker. The film was written by Kevin Williamson. It was directed by Wes Craven. "Scream" was released on December 20, 1996.

"Hated and Feared" Re-Watch: "Storm Front" Parts 1 & 2

 X-Men

"Storm Front" is another two-parter that pulls quite a bit from a past comic. In this case it is "King-Size X-Men Annual" #5. It introduced Arkon to the world of the X-Men and he had a relationship of sorts with Storm. Let's get to it.

A Deep Dive Into the Discography: Tori Amos Part 2

A Deep Dive Into the Discography: Tori Amos

Well, it's been almost two years since I did the first part of this. I keep meaning to come back to it but it always feels like something else takes precedence and then I forget about it. Though I do have a couple of friends consistently asking me when I'm going to finish. Well, the wait is over. Here are my top 8 Tori records. And if you need a refresher on the first half of the list, you can find that here. Let's go.

"Shulkie" She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Recaps: "A Normal Amount of Rage," "Superhuman Law" & "The People Vs. Emil Blonsky"

 She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

If you are following along on Disney+, you probably saw that the next thing after "Thor: Love & Thunder was the "I Am Groot" shorts. Well, we are going to skip that. Those shorts are cute and definitely watch them if you haven't, but I don't think there is a lot for me to say about them.

When Marvel first announced their initial slate of Disney+ television shows, "She-Hulk" was the one that I was looking forward to the most. I am a huge She-Hulk fan. I remember reading her solo series written and drawn by the incredible John Byrne. It was brilliant and honestly, she hasn't had many solo volumes that weren't brilliant and I was excited to see how that translated to the small screen. Let's find out if it did as we check out the first three episodes.

"One Girl in All the World" Re-Watch: "School Hard" & "Inca Mummy Girl"

 Buffy the Vampire Slayer

These episodes see the introduction of some iconic "Buffy" characters. We get Spike and Drusilla, Oz and the rest of Dingoes Ate My Baby and even Jonathan. Let's get to it.

A Long Time Ago, During the Clone Wars: "The Bad Batch," "A Distant Echo," "On the Wings of Keeradaks" & "Unfinished Business"

 Star Wars The Clone Wars

These four episodes introduce the squad of clones known as the Bad Batch. If you're a "Star Wars" fan, I'm sure you're familiar and have maybe watched the first two seasons of their spin-off series. Let's get into it.

"I Am the Moon" Re-Watch: "Premonition of the Apocalypse: The Mysterious New Guardians Appear" & "The Rod of Love Is Born: Usagi's New Transformation"

 Sailor Moon S

I have always loved the last three seasons of "Sailor Moon" so I am super excited to get started with "Sailor Moon S." The "S" stands for Super. "Sailor Moon S" introduces the rest of the outer Sailor Senshi who are probably my favorites. It is super queer, to the point where in the original English dub that they made Haruka and Michiru cousins instead of lovers, which is wild, since they didn't change any of the dialogue. Let's get to it.

"Totally Schway" Re-Watch: "Golem" & "Meltdown"

 Batman Beyond

I didn't bring it up in my first "Batman Beyond" post, but the theme song is great. It is like the most late '90's/early '00's and I love it. I'm going to post it below here so you can give it a listen before we dive into these two episodes. Check it out.

"Big Shots" Re-Watch: "Blue Crow Waltz" & "Supernova Symphony"

 Cowboy Bebop (2021)

We have reached the end of our time with "Cowboy Bebop," both the anime and the live-action. Every time to I watch the anime, I'm reminded why it is one of my favorites and I appreciate the attempt to translate it to live-action, even if it wasn't successful most of the time. I was never bored watching this adaptation. If you haven't watched this and you're a fan of the original anime, I'd say give it a shot. Even if you hate it, at least you can have an informed opinion on why you hate it. Let's get to these final two episodes.

"The Truth Is Out There" Re-Watch: "Paper Hearts" & "El Mundo Gira"

 The X-Files

Vince Gilligan returns to write a classic crime story with an "X-Files" twist and then the show explores another culture which.... does happen some time. Let's get to it.

"We Used to Be Friends" Re-Watch: "Hot Dogs" & "M.A.D."

 Veronica Mars

We are getting close to the end of the season and you can tell as threads start to come together and we are getting more information on Lilly's death and what happened to Veronica at Shelly Pomeroy's party. Let's get to it.

"SuperDad" Superman & Lois Recaps: "Closer," "Uncontrollable Forces" & "In Cold Blood"

 Superman & Lois

Welcome back! It feels like we just finished "Superman & Lois" season 2 and we are ready for season 3. I am extremely excited to be back covering this show. This may be a controversial opinion but I will stand by it. I think "Superman & Lois" is the best CW superhero show. This is a hill I will die on. It's the most consistent. The best acted. The best written. If it would just get rid of those damn teenagers it'd be perfect. I'm happy that the CW renewed it for season 4 even with the Nexstar takeover and I am curious how things will work since they fired most of the cast aside from the Kents. But, that's for next season. Let's dive in to the first 3 episodes of season 3.

Wednesday, September 20, 2023

"Hated and Feared" Re-Watch: "The Phalanx Covenant" Parts 1 & 2

 X-Men

"Beyond Good and Evil" was originally meant to be the finale of "X-Men: the Animated Series" but Fox said just kidding and ordered ten additional episodes that became the fifth and final season of the series. For this final season, Saban hired an animation studio in the Philippines that was just called the Philippine Animation Studio. You may notice a shift in the quality of the animation compared to previous seasons because of that. The fifth season begins with the show's take on a classic modern comics arc. Let's get to it.

Revisiting the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Thor: Love and Thunder

 "Thor: Love and Thunder" (2022)

When the Marvel Cinematic Universe first began, I don't think that I would have guessed that the only Avenger to get a fourquel would be Thor. But here we are. Chris Hemsworth is the last original Avenger standing and it's time to pick up with the God of Thunder after the events of "Avengers: Endgame" which honestly feels forever ago. This films sees the return of Natalie Portman as Dr Jane Foster after she sat out "Thor: Ragnarok." This movie pulls from Jason Aaron's "Thor" run that introduced Jane as the Mighty Thor and it's definitely nice to see her back in the movies with more to do.

Principal photography on "Thor: Love and Thunder" began in January 2021 and ended in June. The film stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster/Mighty Thor, Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jamie Alexander as Sif, Taika Waititi as Korg, Russell Crowe as Zeus and Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista and Sean Gunn appear as their respective Guardians of the Galaxy. The film was written by Taika Waititi and Jennifer Kaytin Robinson. It was directed by Taika Waititi. "Thor: Love and Thunder" was released on July 8, 2022.

"One Girl in All the World" Re-Watch: "When She Was Bad" & "Some Assembly Required"

 Buffy the Vampire Slayer

After a premiere season that showed a ton of potential, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" returned for it's sophomore season to fully realize that potential and show that it was a force. The season premiered on September 15, 1997 in the Tuesday night time slot that it would occupy for the entirety of its run. This season introduced classic characters like Spike and Drusilla and Oz. This season showed what the show had to offer. If I have one main critique, it is that the first half of the season feels a bit rudderless, but once the season's Big Bad shows up midway through, it's full speed ahead to the season finale. Let's get into it.

A Long Time Ago, During the Clone Wars: "Gone with a Trace," "Deal No Deal," "Dangerous Debt" & "Together Again"

 Star Wars The Clone Wars

The final season of "The Clone Wars" premiered on Disney+ on February 21, 2020. It finally gave closure to this classic series. I didn't watch it when it initially aired because I figured I would wait until I got to it here. I mean, it couldn't take that long, right? I'm extremely excited to experience these episodes for the first time, so let's get into it.

"I Am the Moon" Re-Watch: "Sailor Moon R: The Movie"

 Sailor Moon R: The Movie

"Sailor Moon R: The Movie" is the first of three "Sailor Moon" films. It was originally released in Japan on December 5, 1993 and in the United States on February 8, 2000. On January 3, 2017, Viz re-released it re-dubbed and uncut for the first time. If you're wondering where the film fits in continuity, it is sometime right before the final confrontation with the Black Moon Clan since Mamoru and Usagi are back together and Chibi-Usa knows the identities of the Sailor Guardians.

"Totally Schway" Re-Watch: "Rebirth" Parts 1 & 2 & "Black Out"

 Batman Beyond

As we continue through the DCAU or the "Timmverse," we are going bat to the future. We are back in the world of Batman, but this time we are going to the year 2039 where Bruce Wayne has hung up the cape and cowl. The mantle of the bat is taken up by young Terry McGinnis with Bruce in a support role. He's kind of the Alfred to Terry's Batman. "Batman Beyond" is a modern classic. It has lived on in comics form and I'm always hopeful that we will see a live-action version.  I'm excited to revisit this classic series with you all.

I have to mention the recent passing of Arleen Sorkin, the original voice and model for Harley Quinn. Her passing make me extremely sad especially since it comes relatively soon after the passing of Kevin Conroy. They will live on forever and they will definitely be missed. As long as I read "Batman" comics, I will always hear their voices in my head.

"Big Shots" Re-Watch: "Galileo Hustle" & "Sad Clown A-Go-Go"

 "Cowboy Bebop" (2021)

It only took until episode 7 of its first and only season, but the "Cowboy Bebop" live-action series has finally shown why it maybe could have existed and gone on longer. Let's get to it.

Sunday, August 27, 2023

"The Truth Is Out There" Re-Watch: "Tunguska" & "Terma"

The X-Files

We are back to the mythology and a visit to Russia. Also, this is an episode where one of the agents has to appear before Congress and I feel like that happens a lot, but maybe this is the first time? Let's get to it.

"We Used to Be Friends" Re-Watch: "Kane's and Abel's" & "Weapons of Class Destruction"

 Veronica Mars

We are heading towards the first season finale and with that we are getting a renewed focus on the Lilly Kane murder conversation. Let's get into it.

"Fuck Batman" Titans Recap: "Project Starfire" & "Titans Forever"

 Titans

We have reached the final two episodes of "Titans." I have been on a real journey with this show. This show really never knew what to do with the characters. It wanted to be one thing, but the characters didn't really facilitate this. The acting was usually sub par. The writing was mediocre. I am a big fan of these characters so I hope at some point they try again to give them a live-action movie/tv series they deserve. Let's see how this all ends.

Monday, August 21, 2023

"Hated and Feared" Re-Watch: "Beyond Good and Evil" Parts 1-4: "The End of Time," "Promise of Apocalypse," "The Lazarus Chamber" & "End and Beginning"

 X-Men

These four episodes were supposed to be the series finale of "X-Men: The Animated Series." Then Fox unexpectedly ordered ten more episodes. This would have been a great ending to the series and we've got four episodes to cover. So, let's not waste any time.

"Embiggen" Ms. Marvel Recaps: "Time and Again" & "No Normal"

 Ms. Marvel

If you're a comics fan, you know that Kamala Khan has been going through it. She was killed in "Amazing Spider-Man," which is wild, but in comics death is never the end. She was revived on the mutant island nation of Krakoa, finally becoming the mutant she was always destined to be. And it keeps her in line with her MCU counterpart. But, we are getting a bit ahead of ourselves. Let's jump in to these final two episodes.

Wednesday, August 16, 2023

"One Girl in All the World" Re-Watch: "Out of Mind, Out of Sight" & "Prophecy Girl"

 Buffy the Vampire Slayer

We have reached the end of season one! I definitely feel like the first season of "Buffy" is something that you just have to kind of get through to get to the brilliance that the show has to offer in seasons 2-7. If you're a fan of Cordelia Chase, these episodes today are for you as the show works to integrate her more into the Scooby Gang. Let's get to it.

A Long Time Ago, During the Clone Wars: Unfinished Episodes: "A Death on Utapau," "In Search of the Crystal," "Crystal Crisis" & "The Big Bang" "Dark Disciple," & "Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir"

 Star Wars The Clone Wars

There were a number of scripts that went unproduced when "The Clone Wars" was unceremoniously cancelled by Cartoon Network. Before we move on to the final season of the show we are going to take a look at those that come to us in the form of four storyboarded episodes, a novel and a graphic novel. Let's get to it.

"I Am the Moon" Re-Watch: "The Final Battle Between Light and Dark: Pledge of Love for the Future" & "Usagi and the Girls Resolve: Prelude to a New Battle"

 Sailor Moon R

We have reached the end of the second season of "Sailor Moon R." It's been a solid season. And we have a movie before we wrap up entirely and move on to season three. This will be quick one since the second episode we have is a clip show. Let's get to it.

"Last Son" Re-Watch: "The Demon Reborn" & "Legacy" Parts 1 & 2

 Superman The Animated Series

We've reached the end of our coverage of "Superman: The Animated Series." This series was interesting. I don't think that this series ever hits the heights of "Batman: The Animated Series," but it definitely gives the Man of Steel some great moments. It has some truly great episodes. If you're still interested in some Superman animated fun, I'd definitely check out "My Adventures with Superman" on Max. Let's get to it.

"Big Shots" Re-Watch: "Darkside Tango" & "Binary Two-Step"

 Cowboy Bebop (2021)

Since I took my little July sem-break, I realized that we haven't had a live-action "Cowboy Bebop" post since June 19th. Well, we are back again to talk more about the show that shouldn't really exist. I'm sure you're all excited. Let's get to it.

"The Truth Is Out There" Re-Watch: "The Field Where I Died," "Sanguinarium" & "Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man"

 The X-Files

July was a busy month so I took a little blogging break. But we are back in full force in August starting off with three "X-Files" episodes. And two are... just OK. But one is pretty great. So it all evens out? Maybe? Let's get to it.

"Hated and Feared" Re-Watch: "Lotus and the Steel," "Weapon X, Lies and Videotape" & "Have Yourself a Morlock Little X-Mas"

X-Men

It seems fitting that the episodes for this posts are all pretty Wolverine focused since we got the Wolverine costume reveal from "Deadpool 3" this week. I am not a huge fan of Wolverine's, but these episodes (for the most part) show why he is a compelling character and why writer's are drawn to him. Let's get to it.
